Berg Haus: A Sports Bar for Everyone

Meet Your New Favorite Hangout Spot

For any fun-loving residents of the Castle Pines and Castle Rock area, you know that dining and entertainment have been hard to come by in recent years. Berg Haus Colorado Sports Bar and Grill has changed that stigma. This refreshing new scene is perfect for anyone looking to watch the big game, dine on delicious sandwiches and wings, or have a couple of beers with a group of friends.

Happily Stumbled Upon

When friends ask Aaron Schulz to recommend a place to eat, the answer is always Colorado’s Berg Haus. He first discovered Berg Hause on an out of the blue weekday during summer 2021 to watch a Colorado Avalanche playoff game, but he kept coming back for the atmosphere, delicious food, and weekly events. There are upwards of 20 televisions on the inside of the bar, and another dozen outside in the shaded outdoor area. Even though it is a sports bar, there is so much more that Berg Haus has to offer. For example, every Thursday night they have live music on the outdoor patio, while each Wednesday night they host trivia nights for teams of up to however many you wish.

What to Focus On

When eating at Berg Haus, Aaron recommends a jalapeño popper burger with a side of tater tots (maybe the best tater tots Aaron’s ever had). And if you’re not in the mood for a sandwich the fat alley wings are a hit (especially on Wednesdays when they are 10 for $12). If you’re old enough to have a drink at the bar Aaron recommends the Lagunitas Hazy IPA, a full flavorful beer that begs you to have another. The bar is filled with families and groups of friends decked out in their Aves and Nuggets gear; a great place to spend the evening. Trivia Wednesday, however, is the main attraction for Aaron as the games are engaging and intense, causing teams to form rivalries that will last for months
