What’s the first place that comes to mind when you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion?
Home! While I love a fun night out on the town, I find that my home is my favorite place to celebrate any special occasion. It brings me so much joy to cook my favorite meal, have my favorite drinks, and be in a comfortable space where we can celebrate, lounge, dance, chat, cook, and do whatever we want to celebrate the occasion!
Tell us about your favorite book/movie/show from the past year.
I am in a phase of fantasy/romance books right now so anything my Sarah J. Moss is in my Kindle library! While I am not a huge movie person, I love a good series or documentary. Two shows I still think about and loved for their twists and turns were Silo and Severance. Both were twisty, had me on the edge of my seat, and sad when the next episode wasn’t out yet.
You’re on a desert island with a working turntable. What three records are you spinning for the next year before help arrives?
I would have the Taylor Swift album “Evermore (deluxe version),” Lord Huron’s album “Strange Trails,” and Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”
Rachel’s career began in education before expanding into nonprofit work, where she honed her skills in project management, public relations, and client experience. Those roles gave her a strong foundation in creating systems and experiences that make a meaningful difference—something she now brings to her role at EdgeRock. Here, she helps design and execute events that not only inform but also connect people, ensuring every client feels cared for and supported.
She approaches her work with joy, calm, and grounded positivity, believing that when an event reflects those values, it creates the right environment for clients to learn about their financial future with confidence.
Rachel’s family has been an anchor throughout her life—her parents, siblings, and husband have each instilled lessons of purpose and drive. Together with her husband, she’s focused on building a family of her own, which fuels her passion for meaningful work each day.
A lifelong Coloradoan, Rachel finds joy in being outdoors, whether she’s hiking, walking her dog, or exploring new trails and lakes. Yoga is another outlet she leans on for clarity and balance, while at home she enjoys cooking with her husband and finding small, intentional ways to live well. She also loves catching up with friends over coffee or tea and planning her next adventure.
