SMS Privacy Policy
Scope of this Policy
This SMS Privacy Policy (“SMS Policy”) describes how EdgeRock Wealth Management, LLC (“EdgeRock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our text message (Short Message Service, or “SMS”) program. This SMS Policy applies only to information related to our SMS program and the mobile phone numbers enrolled in it.
This SMS Policy is a subset of, and supplements, our general Privacy Policy. It does not replace that policy. Where a topic is addressed here, this SMS Policy controls with respect to our SMS program. All other collection, use, and handling of your information — including information collected through our website and other channels — is governed by our general Privacy Policy. If you are an advisory client or former advisory client, information we collect in connection with providing investment advisory services remains governed by our separate Client Privacy Notice provided under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”) and SEC Regulation S-P.
Our SMS Program
When you provide your mobile number and opt in, EdgeRock may send you text messages such as:
- Appointment and service reminders: Meeting confirmations, scheduling updates, follow-ups, and account- or service-related notices.
- Conversational messages: Two-way communication between you and EdgeRock team members regarding your questions, requests, and general service matters.
- Account and security alerts: One-time passcodes, verification messages, and other security or transactional notifications.
We do not use our SMS program to send marketing or promotional text messages.
Consent and Opt-In
We send SMS messages only to individuals who have opted in to receive them. You may provide consent by submitting your mobile number through a form or enrollment method that describes the SMS program, by texting us to begin a conversation, or by otherwise expressly agreeing to receive text messages from us.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services from EdgeRock, and is not required to receive our investment advisory or other services. You may decline to participate in the SMS program at any time without affecting your relationship with us.
No Sharing of Opt-In Data or Consent
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
The information you provide to enroll in the SMS program — including your mobile number and consent — is used solely to operate the SMS program. We may share this information only with the service providers and vendors that help us deliver text messages on our behalf (for example, our messaging platform and telecommunications providers), and only to the extent necessary for them to provide those services to us. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for their own purposes, and no mobile information is sold.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Because our SMS program includes reminders, two-way conversational messages, and security alerts, the number of messages you receive will depend on your activity, requests, and account or scheduling events.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to messages you send or receive, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. EdgeRock does not charge for the text messages we send, but your carrier’s standard messaging and data charges will apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
Message delivery is subject to the effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to Opt Out
You can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Following that confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program. If you want to rejoin, you can opt in again using the same method you used to enroll, and we will resume sending messages.
Please note that opting out of the SMS program does not remove you from other forms of communication with EdgeRock. Security- or service-related communications may still be delivered through other channels as needed.

For help or more information about the SMS program, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us at service@edgerockwealth.com. Replying HELP will return a message with contact information and basic support details.
Information We Collect Through the SMS Program
In connection with the SMS program, we collect and process:
- Your mobile phone number;
- Your opt-in status and the date, time, and method of your consent;
- The content of messages you exchange with us and related metadata (such as message dates and times and delivery status); and
- Opt-out and support requests.
We use this information to deliver the messages you have requested, respond to your inquiries, provide reminders and alerts, maintain records of consent and opt-out as required, secure and improve the SMS program, and comply with applicable laws and carrier requirements.
Data Security and Retention
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information collected through the SMS program. We retain SMS-related information, including records of your consent and opt-out requests, for as long as necessary to operate the program, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes.
Privacy of Your Information
Any personal information collected through the SMS program is handled in accordance with this SMS Policy and, for matters not addressed here, our general Privacy Policy. To the extent the SMS program involves an advisory-client relationship, our Client Privacy Notice under GLBA and Regulation S-P also applies.
Changes to This SMS Policy
We may update this SMS Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the current version on our website. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated SMS Policy. Please review this SMS Policy periodically.
