What’s the first place that comes to mind when you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion?
Going with Hapa Sushi. I have a lot of memories there from my time working there and am always in the mood to crush some sushi!
Tell us about a vacation you would love to take.
I would love to travel to Hawaii. It’s got everything I need from surfing, diving, hiking, and sunshine that if I ever go, I’m not sure I’d ever come back.
Tell us about your favorite book/movie/show from the past year.
Culinary Wars on Netflix is peak cooking competition. Although it may be in Korean, the English dub is great and the dishes they create and contests they battle in are too addictive to stop watching.
Mac brings a team-oriented, high-energy approach to his role at EdgeRock—shaped by athletics, global experience, and a genuine love for working with people. After playing football at the University of Colorado and earning two business degrees, Mac began his professional career in real estate mortgage lending, where he learned the fundamentals of finance and relationship-building.
His path then took him abroad to Taiwan, where he spent nearly two years teaching English and reconnecting with his mother’s family. That experience broadened his perspective and reinforced the importance of communication, adaptability, and cultural awareness. When he returned to the U.S., Mac knew wealth management was where he wanted to build his career—combining finance, service, and teamwork in a competitive environment.
At EdgeRock, Mac wears many hats. He brings strong attention to detail, organization, and curiosity to the work behind the scenes, helping ensure a smooth and thoughtful client experience. Just as important, he’s often the first friendly face clients see when they walk through the door. Outgoing by nature, Mac prides himself on creating a welcoming environment where families feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely cared for.
Mac comes from a close-knit family of six, including two older twin brothers and a younger sister. His parents continue to inspire his work ethic and drive, and he’s motivated by the goal of one day taking care of them the way they’ve always taken care of him.
Outside of work, Mac is almost always moving. He loves rock climbing, biking, hiking, water activities, and anything that gets him outdoors in the sun. Having moved to Colorado at age five, he’s called the state home ever since and never takes its access to adventure for granted. Next on his list: spending more time on the rivers and diving into rafting and fly fishing.
